What is RISE ?
RISE is an online learning program that covers every element of your panel interview planning and preparation.
The training is broken down into modules, or topics, that have video training lessons within each module and downloadable worksheets that walk you through each concept and topic.
What does the training cover?
- What research you need to do to prepare for your panel interview and how to do it.
- The types of interview questions you’ll encounter.
- How to break down interview questions to fully understand them and then strategically answer them.
- How to interpret what the questions are really asking.
- The best framework to use to answer behavioural questions and how to use this framework.
- How to answer non-behavioural questions.
- How to answer questions about your weaknesses.
- How to answer dilemma questions.
- How to answer questions that you don’t know the answer to.
- Planning a closing pitch.
- 6-Step Perusal Strategy to strategically use your perusal time to set your interview up for success.
- Verbal & non-verbal communication skills.
- Interview Strategy – how to open and close the interview and all the important bits in between.
- How to manage your nerves.
- Interview practice strategies.
- Your physical presentation for your interview.
- All the practical stuff for the day of your interview.
How long does the training take to complete?
The course has over 2 hours of video lessons that are broken down into bite-sized chunks as well as worksheets that walk you through planning and preparation activities.
The training will take roughly 3-5 hours to complete but you can stop and start the training - there's no requirement to do the training in one sitting. It's designed to do in bits and pieces, when and where you can.
What's involved in testing?
There is no cost involved in testing - you get this training absolutely free!
What we ask in return for this free training is your feedback about the training and its applicability in the Education and Training sector.
At the end of each lesson there is a short survey that will take approximately 2 minutes to complete and at the end of the entire training there is feedback form that will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
We'll also shoot you a quick email after you've had your interview, seeking some feedback about how useful the training was for your interview.
Is there a time-frame for testing?
We ask that you complete the training and provide feedback within 2 weeks of being granted access to the course.
Is there a criteria for testing?
Testing isn't for everyone and we understand that life is busy - we're seeking people that have the time and motivation to complete the course within two weeks and are also committed to provide feedback about the course.
